Promoter Requirements For IKF/PKB Sanctioning

  • Approval of the IKF/PKB Headquarters for you to host an Officially Sanctioned IKF/PKB Event.
  • All sanctioning fees must be paid in full to the IKF/PKB Office, before an event can be advertised as an IKF/PKB sanctioned event.
  • For the least expensive price for your event sanctioning fees, we suggest that you pay your fees a minimum 45 days prior to your scheduled event. This will assure you a 50% Discount off the regular sanctioning fee for your event and requested title bout fees.
  • Between 44 and 30 days prior to your scheduled event, your fees will go up, but you will still receive a 25% Discount off the regular sanctioning fee for your event and requested title bout fees.
  • If your sanctioning fees are not received by the IKF/PKB office within 29 days prior to your scheduled event, you will be required to pay the Full Regular Sanctioning Fee as listed with no pre pay discount.
  • If fees are not received within 10 days prior to your event, your event will not be sanctioned by the IKF/PKB. (HOWEVER) Sometimes, late sanctioning agreements are made and sanctioning is confirmed after fees have been paid under the 10 day limit. Fee discounts can also vary with first time IKF/PKB promoters scheduling with the IKF/PKB inside the payment discount deadlines.
  • Each event will have one (1) IKF/PKB Approved Event Representative in attendance.
  • The promoter must pay for all awards, purses and if any, IKF/PKB title belts.
  • In addition to the general event expenses, Promotional, sanctioning, purses, venue etc, the event promoter will pay all Officials expenses as well.

  • PRODUCTION RIGHTS
    • The IKF/PKB has authorization to use ANY video, TV or film of ANY & ALL IKF/PKB Sanctioned events for promotional or instructional purposes. Portions of ANY & ALL bouts may be used in ANY and ALL IKF instructional or documentary tapes that may be sold to the public. Any desires to profit from a FULL BOUT or ENTIRE EVENT by the IKF/PKB will be negotiated in a separate contract.

Event Requirements For IKF/PKB Promoter

  • Promoter shall provide fighting gloves for each fighter. 16 ounce, velcro strap closure gloves are recommended. Please have at least 3 sets (6 pair) "PER FIGHTING RING" you plan to have going at your tournament. This will prevent long waits between bouts for gloving up.
  • Gloves must be approved by the IKF/PKB representative at the event. If you do not have gloves, or need gloves, Ask the IKF/PKB Headquarters to rent them for your event. IKF/PKB Glove Rental, if needed, is $10 per pair.
  • Gloves shall be whole, clean, in sanitary condition and subject to inspection by the referee or the IKF/PKB representative at the event. Any gloves found to be unfit shall be immediately discarded and replaced with gloves meeting the above requirements.
  • Ring Announcer
  • Title belts (If titles) and other awards.
  • Event security.
  • All additional needs to support an event, venue, fighters, hotel rooms etc. Contact the IKF/PKB if these areas are unclear.
  • At the end of your event, please be sure to pay all your officials and IKF/PKB Event Representative. Pay everyone their wage for working your event and any travel fees they may have (Gas, food, hotel etc.) unless you have volunteer help.

PROMOTERS - PLEASE DO NOT
Force your Officials to sit around and WAIT for you to pay them or for them to approach you to be paid. No one likes to ask for their money. BE RESPONSIBLE and PROFESSIONAL and make sure you pay your officials IMMEDIATELY after your event. They worked hard to make your event possible. Thank You.
